William Paul Young is a Canadian born author who spent his early years with missionary parents in a New Guinea stone-age tribe. He attended numerous schools growing up, and eventually completed his degree in religion from Warner Pacific College in Portland, OR. His world-wide best seller The Shack has over 18 million copies in print and stood 49 consecutive weeks at #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list. It was originally intended to be a story about his perspectives on God for his six children, but has inspired conversations about spirituality around the world, as it points people to the love of God. His latest book, Cross Roads, was released in November 2012. It’s a novel about authenticity and redemption, and is quickly climbing the charts.
